Many forces have shaped me into the person I am, but if I had to list ten they would be; my parents, my sister, my nanny and pop, my Nana, volleyball, school, my best friends, my volleyball coach, Ashlee Burd, and my mistakes.
Parents are very important in everyones life, especially in mine. Even though my parents and I rarely ever get along, they have always had my back and steered my towards the right path in life. They have done everything for me and helped me be the best person I can be.
Kelsey is not only my older sister, she is my best friend and role model. My sister is an amazing person inside and out. She is driven, intelligent, and is always there for me when I need her the most. Although we are two very different people she is the kind of person who I am striving to be like.
My Nanny and Pop are two of the most supportive and loving members of family of mine. Without them I don't know if I would love the game of volleyball as much as I do. They are at every volleyball match cheering me on in the stands. No matter if my team wins or looses my Nanny and Pop are there to put a smile on my face and cheer me up. They are also there for me through personal issues too, the mean the absolute world to me.
Nana is my great grandmother, she is 87 years old and still going strong. I would have to say that she is the sunshine in my life, she is just always so pleasnt to be around. Nana means so much to my family and I because you can go to her for anything and she will always listen to whatever you have to say even if she dosn't hear every part. She has made me want to live every day like its your last because you never no when your time will be.
Volleyball is my number one favorite sport, it is also my passion. I consider it to be a lifestyle because I could never go without it and I'm playing it all of the time. Volleyball has made me responsible and a leader because it has taught me that its always about the team and not yourself. I have learned a lot of lessons from volleyball that I will always remember, also i have made so many life long friends who i will never forget.
School is not my favorite thing in the world, AT ALL. However, school has set my priorities in line and has made me focus on what is important in life. It is helping prepare me for college which is going to be a huge part of my future. School may not be the most fun, I have learned a lot from it and now know what it takes to be successful.
I have to of the best friends, Sydney Galagher and Jenna Veverka. These two girls have been there for me through every single hard time I have been through and have always cheered me up after the bad times. They also tell me whats on their mind and have my best interest at heart. The two them have my back no matter what, even if they dont agree with me they still support me and thats why i love them so much.
My Volleyball coach this past year for club taught me a lot of things I need to know. He pushed me to be the best player I can be and never let me slack off and always made sure I was playing my best. My coach knows a lot about volleyball and has sent a lot of his players off to college to further their careers, and thats exactly what he did for me. After playing on his team I now know what it takes to compete at the next level and I am now ready to play in college.
Ashlee Burd has always been a good friend of mine ever since we were three years old. She has always been there and still is even though we drifted apart. The one thing I will never forget is when she introduced me to volleyball. If Ashlee wouldn't have gotten me to play volleyball I don't know if I would have played when I did or at all. I don't know what i would have done without volleyball so I can never thank Ashlee enough.
Lastly, something that has shaped me the most was my mistakes. I have made so many mistakes in my life that have made me change a lot of things about myself. Even though they are called "mistakes", they really have helped me better myself and help put me on the right path to be the person I am today. I have no regrets in any mistakes i have made because they have just made me into a better person.

Brooklyn,
I can relate to you a lot. I've made a lot of my mistakes in my life, but I never regret them and they have made me a better person as well. You'll be very successful in your life and I can tell because you're very driven and focused.

Brooklyn,
I can definitely relate to being close with my sister. I consider my sister to be my best friend just like you do. I think it's really cool how you look up to her as a role model. I know that's how I feel about my sister as well.

Brooklyn,
I definitely agree with alot that you said. There really is nothing greater than the bond between two siblings. Also, I can fully understand how important volleyball coaches can be. When they know their stuff, and you can trust them it makes everything a heck of a lot easier.

Brooklyn,
I can definitely see that you are a family oriented person. I thought your best force was the fact that you decided to put, you learn from your mistakes. That was a great answer. Continue to achieve and become an even better person.
